NWZ Coach Applications
NWZHA is looking for head and assistant coaches for the following teams:
NWZ PeeWee AA Raiders
NWZ PeeWee AA Renegades
NWZ Bantam A Outlaws
NWZ Midget Teams Tiers 1-8
If you are qualified and interested in coaching high-level hockey in a competitive, fun, developmental environment please consider applying for one of these positions. NWZ is dedicated to developing young hockey players with positive attitudes, strong work ethics, dedication, sportsmanship, strong skills and a commitment to their community. We are looking for coaches who will provide leadership by example, develop all players on the team and help instil appreciation for the game and respect for others.
MANDATORY Head Coach Course Certificates required:
NCCP Coach Level for Bantam and Midget
NCCP Development Level 1 for PeeWee
ALL Bench Staff Respect In Sport - Coach Course
(must be completed on-line PRIOR to Sept 1, 2012)

If you are interested in taking on the challenging but rewarding duty of coaching Peewee AA, Bantam A or Midget hockey please complete and submit the appropriate attached form and your coaching resume (if applicable) by July 15, 2012 to:

Please use the correct application form whether you are interested in the PeeWee, Bantam or Midget teams and indicate whether you are applying for Head Coach or Asst. Coach.
A Coach Selection Committee composed of NWZ Board members will review all applications and schedule interviews with those selected for a ‘short-list’ of candidates. Interviews for PW and BT will occur during July and coach selections will be completed by July 31 if non-parent coaches, and during tryouts (PeeWee) or during NEW integrated player evaluations (Bantam) if parent coaches. MD interviews are tentatively scheduled for mid to late August.
